Jnanagni TechFest

We built a full-featured web platform to handle event marketing, registration, and participant management for Jnanagni, the annual tech fest of Gurukula. The platform enables students to explore event details, register individually or in teams, and receive real-time updates from organizers all through a clean, responsive interface. On the backend, we implemented a scalable Node.js server to handle registration logic, authentication, and data flow. The frontend was developed in React.js for a smooth, single-page experience with dynamic routing and state management. User data is stored in Firebase NoSQL for fast reads and writes, while authentication uses JWT and Google OAuth via Firebase Authentication to ensure secure and frictionless access. We integrated Cloudinary for asset management handling images, banners, and promotional media efficiently. The result was a unified system that automated the entire event lifecycle from promotion and user onboarding to registration tracking and communication helping Gurukula manage thousands of participants with zero manual overhead.
